Meet our registered Pet Partners teams

George & Diesel

Diesel is a 3 year old Corgi who became a therapy animal in 2024.

FUN FACT: Diesel thinks George’s whole purpose in life is to throw his ball.

FAVORITE TYPE OF VISIT: Reading to Therapy Animals, and going to public service agencies. George is a Pet Partners evaluator, and Diesel and George are a registered Animal Assisted Crisis Response Team.

Erin & Finn

Finn has been a therapy animal since 2021. He is a 9 year old Labrador.

FUN FACT: Finn spent a year at vet school and was a Purdue Canine Educator.

FAVORITE TYPE OF VISIT: Finn loves visits at assisted living facilities, because he gets so much love and attention and loves hearing everyone talk!

Tom & Curtis

Curtis is a 9 year old Labrador.

FUN FACT: Curtis was “career changed” from Leader Dogs for the Blind due to elbow dysplasia at 1.5 years old when Tom adopted him.

FAVORITE TYPE OF VISIT: Anything that involves swimming, eating, or hanging out with people.

Arielle & Sasha

Congratulations to one of our new teams! Sasha is a 3 year old Irish Wolfhound/Standard Poodle mix.

FUN FACT: Sasha loves to have her ears rubbed.

FAVORITE TYPE OF VISIT: Any visit where Sasha gets lots of pets and snuggles with both adults and children.

Barbara & Bruce

Bruce is a 2 year old Miniature American Shepherd, and became a therapy animal in 2024.

FUN FACT: Bruce does agility, and loves to grab his football and run through agility tunnels in his backyard!

FAVORITE TYPE OF VISIT: Barbara has been a therapy dog handler for 21 years, and she and Bruce enjoy visits with one to one meet and greets.

Michelle & Lilly

Lilly recently turned 12 and is a Miniature Schnauzer. She and Michelle have been a team since 2022.

FUN FACT: Michelle has been a Pet Partners handler for 24 years, and loves seeing Lilly’s excitement when she brings out her visit harness!

FAVORITE TYPE OF VISIT: Lilly enjoys having children read to her and visits to memory care units. Lilly and Michelle are a registered Animal Assisted Crisis Response Team.

Julie & Meadow

Meadow is a 4 year old Golden Retriever, and she and Julie have been a therapy animal team since 2023.

FUN FACT: You know when Meadow is “in the zone” because she makes a snoring sound in her throat; her version of a purr.

FAVORITE TYPE OF VISIT: Any visit where Meadow experiences lots of attention on her! They have found working with people in the corrections system, mental health facilities, recovery centers, and transitional living to be very rewarding.

Marie & Beans

Beans passed her evaluation in June 2025 which makes her our newest member. She is a 9 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. 

FUN FACT: Beans has been accompanying her 8 year old human brother to play therapy visits for years. She was born to provide snuggles and love to anyone in need. 

FAVORITE TYPE OF VISIT: Beans enjoys reading with kids at the library and in the future is planning on getting lots of snuggles with the elderly!

Lisa & Bella

Bella was the sweetest Corgi who spent nine years as a therapy dog. She recently passed over the rainbow bridge and will forever be missed.

Lisa has been a therapy dog handler for 18 years and is a licensed Pet Partners instructor. She is the master organizer for all PPGL events and we are lucky to have her!
